Norman-Swabian Castle (Castello Svevo)
A moated castle rebuilt by Emperor Frederick II, now a museum with exhibitions. Closed on Mondays, and on most Sunday afternoons from October to March.

A lane in the old town where local women make orecchiette pasta at tables outside their homes and sell it by the bag. Mornings are the liveliest time.
