Palais des Festivals & the red-carpet steps
Home of the film festival. Stand on the famous steps and look for film stars' handprints set in the pavement outside.
Tender port
Used when Quai Laubeuf is not available; the Old Port works run until about 2027.
Tender port: the ship's boats bring you into the Old Port. From the Gare Maritime you are a couple of minutes' walk from the Palais des Festivals and the Croisette, about 10 minutes uphill to Le Suquet and about 10–15 minutes on foot to Cannes station (trains to Antibes, Nice and Grasse).
Boarding a tender involves a step down and depends on the sea; ask the ship. The Old Port quays and the Croisette are flat.
