Kanoni viewpoint and Mouse Island
The postcard view over the little Vlacherna monastery on its causeway and the islet of Pontikonisi. City bus 2A runs here from the Liston, or take a short taxi.

A wooded park around a neoclassical villa south of the old town, with ancient temple ruins among the trees. About 30 minutes' walk from the Spianada along the bay. Gate times vary; check locally.
