Porto Antico waterfront
The old harbour, rebuilt as a promenade with cafés, boats and views back to the city.
The historic main cruise terminal, mostly used for cruise calls.
Walk: Genova Piazza Principe station is about 400 m away (about 5–10 minutes), the Royal Palace about 10 minutes and the aquarium about 15–20 minutes along the old harbour. From Principe the metro runs to De Ferrari and San Giorgio in the centre. Taxis wait outside the terminal.
The terminal handles passengers and baggage at street level and the harbour front is flat; the old town climbs steeply away from the sea.
